By Car

Getting to La Plagne by car is an easy drive as it is mainly motorways. From Calais it takes roughly 10 hours including a few rest stops on the way. There are toll roads nearly all the way to the valley and really easy to navigate.

One of the advantages of driving is that if you want to travel on Friday and stay overnight somewhere close by you can arrive early on the Saturday morning and go straight out for a ski.

We are happy to welcome you early and have facilities to store your luggage until the rooms are ready.

If you do decide to drive let us know and we will supply you with a detailed description of where your chalet is.

We have parking spaces outside the Chalet Genepy and Chalet Plume and free public parking is also available.

By Rail

There is a Eurostar/TGV service running from St Pancras which is a very eco friendly way of travelling. The train arrives in Aime which is a 20 minute drive from the chalet.

You will need to change in Paris but the whole journey is typically a smooth and painless experience. The train leaves London at around 08.00 and you will generally arrive in resort for 19.00 just in time for dinner.

It is advisable to book early for the trains as prices do increase the closer the travel date.
